Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Double Days)

Reporting to: Warehouse Chargehand

Shift Pattern: Rotating pattern Monday to Friday, week 1 6am-2pm, week 2 1pm-9pm

Job Purpose:

An integral role within the Warehouse team, the role will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse space is kept safe, tidy and organised at all times along with ensuring all raw materials and packaging are available at the work site prior to the start of production.

Key Responsibilities

1. To start up, run and shut down designated trucks to set procedures.
2. Efficiently follow the daily production plan ensuring due care and attention is paid to variety and product types.
3. To ensure the correct quality of palletised finished goods are available for dispatch.
4. To ensure at all times the appropriate equipment is used and in fit purpose
5. Be compliant to the standards expected in the use of moving / non-moving mechanical machinery.
6. A high standard of record keeping associated with any process.
7. Effectively communicate with the management team and other departments when required.

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Confidentiality and professionalism in all undertakings
• Approachable, flexible and methodical
• Keen attention to detail, ability to solve issues

Desirable:

• Experience of warehouse, or production environment
• Fork lift truck licence
