Come and see us at stand 182 for jam and scones, our brand new baking recipes and the best spreads on show!
Duerr’s, the UK’s oldest family owned jam company that has been preserving tradition since 1881, has launched a brand new recipe collection of brilliantly British puds to celebrate the Cake and Bake Show in Manchester.
Hot on the heels of their Baking for Boys series, the jam makers are sharing some family classics to show you, you don’t have to be a master baker to crack a firm bottom!
The recipes recovered from the family archives, include: childhood favourites – Jammy Biscuits (click here for the recipe), delicate Victoria Sponge Drops (click here for how to make) and a delicious Orange Marmalade and Almond Cake (full recipe here).
Ideal for novices in kitchens across the nation, these recipes are available on easy to follow cards for show attendees, plus online, to help even the least likely how to stiff a sponge, pop their buns in the oven and produce a perfect glaze.
So what are you waiting for? Whip out your ‘pin, flour your surface and bring your best Great British Bake Off spirit to the kitchen.
