Manchester born and bred, up and coming artist Greg Meade operates from his studio in Salford, finding influence in the rich industrial heritage of the city. His most recent body of work has investigated the ever changing cultural & economic landscape of Manchester, where the increasing trend of demolishing heritage in favour of monotonous ‘glass towers’ threatens to diminish the proud history in the home of the Industrial Revolution.

Greg adds: adds: “Duerr’s is a proud member of the Manchester community and is part of the historical tapestry of  the city – easy inspiration for any artist.

“I find influence in the rich industrial heritage of Manchester and I wanted to represent the notion of Marmalade itself within the designs. As a product, marmalade requires sunshine whilst also being such a quintessentially British condiment. I think there’s a wonderfully bitter orange irony to that.”
