The Great British tradition of a pint at the pub, celebrated daily in TV soaps and comedies. A place for friends, company and a relaxing night away from the house, the pub can be a place to rest your weary head after a long country walk or simply your local hangout. It was formally known as a Public House, and has over the years become a fundamental part of British culture, I doubt many of us would know what to do without it! A typically British past time, the pub can actually be traced back to Roman times, however I doubt a lock-in existed then!
